I have been really poor at keeping this blog up to date since we have been back in the UK. We have been crazy working 2 jobs so we can save enough money to go travelling around the world. Well the flights are booked and we are off on the 2nd Feb 08 for 6mths. We are heading back to America to begin the adventure. We are starting in San Fran/LA for 2weeks then we fly to Cook Islands for 2weeks. We then fly to New Zealand for 1 month and then to Australia for 2.5 mths. We then head to Thailand for 1mth and finally to Africa for 2weeks before we fly home on the 1st August.

Going to be an amazing experience, I am going to do my best to keep this blog updated with our travels.

Enjoying Disney

Last weekend MGM Studios hosted Star Wars Weekend so on our day off Chris and I headed there for the last day. It was packed!!!! We werent to bothered about the rides, Chris wanted to see some stars. We lined up for a picture with Chewbacca, Darth Vader and some other characters which were very scarey!!!!! Chris was very impressed that he saw some of the real characters!!! There was a show with all the characters which was very good. The kids could fight Darth Vader with light savers!!!! wow!!! hehe!

On our next day off we catch the bus to Fort Wilderness Lodge and walked through the woods to the camp ground, there was a storm brewing in the distance. It was cool to be out in the wilderness, the trees were sooo tall. We arrived at the camp ground to find a ranch and their was a black smith redoing the horse shoes. Really cool to watch.
We brought ice creams and sat out on rocking chairs, good way to relax. We walked through the camp ground the VRs are sooo huge and cool.

Brilliant two days off, our last before we go home!!!!! Loved seeing all the Disney resorts and Parks. Very lucky to have them on our door step. Well we only have few days left, looking forward to coming home. We have had the best time and done sooo much.

THE DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!

WOW WOW WOW!!! What can I say we have had the best 4 days, if anyone gets the chance to go on the Disney Cruise Line then GO. It is amazing!!!!!! We set off on Sunday to the Beach Club Resort where the coach picked us up, to take us to the Port. We were both very excited, really felt like a proper holiday. As we arrived at Port Canival we could see the Ship, think I was jumping around the coach like a little kid.

Disney had their own termial and we checked in and were give our Keys to the world, which means we dont have to have cash with us, charge everything to our account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! quite scarey when we got the bill at the end!!!!!!!!!!!

We boarded the ship into the lobby which was beauitful, they asked us our name and annouced it to the ship. "Please welcome the Lynes Family". We headed to our rooms where our luggage was waiting for us, no worries about dragging luggage all done for you. Lunch was being served on deck 9 so we checked that out, sooo much food all very yummy!!! After we walked round the rest of the ship, amazing amazing!!! Weather was beauitful too.

There were three pools, one for small children, then the family pool, then the adult pool with the spa, wow wow wow!! There was streams room, saunas, power showers, heated seats. So we made use of that!! My skin never felt better!!! We also treated ourselves to a couples massage, the pictures are later.

The rest of the ship was amazing, our staterooms were brill too, lots of room and was nice to sleep in a proper bed. Before we sailed we had to have a emergery drill, dont you love our lifejackets.

So its time to party DISNEY style, with the sail away party, on deck 9 we all got to together for lots of dancing and all the characters were there. Lots of fun and as we sailed out the ships horn sounded with the "wish upon a star" how disney!!! love it.

The weather was sooo lovely, good way to start the cruise.

Disney Cruise................

Our first night we reserve a table at the top resturant on ship Palo, which cost any extra $10 each, soooo worth it. The serves was great and the food was amazing, as you can see we had to take pictures. Every mouthful jus melted in your mouth. We had to dress up which was nice, the resturant was on the top deck, sooo romantic.

After we wondered around the ship and found the characters in the lobby so had to get lots of pictures. We found a real cool bar where you could play chess and backgammon while watching all the america sports and they even had nibbles layed out. Did they want me to turn into a little piglet!!!!!!

Every night our stateroom host got our rooms ready for us to go to bed, so pulled all the covers back and made a towel animal, sooo cool.

We arrived at Nassau, Bahamas on the Monday, we walked around the town for a bit, went to the straw market and it was crazy with bags and purses. I could have brought sooo much!! but I settled for a gucci purse, yummy. After we headed to the Atlantis hotel which is a huge resort with its own water park, beach, casino, and more and more. You cant get around much of it with out wrist bands so we headed back to the ship to spend the afteroon relaxing.

Worth seeing but very expensive resort, back on board we had lunch and sat out on deck by the pool and caught the sun!!!!

In the evening was the first of our rotation dinning were you eat in different resturants but you have the same server and you sit with the same people. We had two honeymoon couples one for the states and one from the UK. We ate in the Tritions the first night which was themed on the Little Mermaid. The food was out standing, Chris and I had 4 coures, main course being duckling, wow it was so yummy.

Tuesday morning we arrived at Castaway Cay, Disney own island. It was once a priate island used for smuggling, soo cool. The weather was amazing and have never seen water so clear. Different world. We even meet Jack Sparrow and had our picture with him and Mickey. We headed to the adult beach it was soo quiet.

So perfect the sand, the sea, the weather. I fell asleep in a hamket, snorning away!!!!

We jus chilled out all day and had a few drinks at the bar and we got chatting to the bartender he was from Aus, made me some cocktails and told us the cool things to do when we go travelling. We had a brilliant day, we walked back and brought a few things in the shop. The family beach was packed in kids, sooo many. But all day we wouldnt have own they were on the island.
Back on board the pirate theme was continued with a Pirate night, we dressed up a bit, very funny. We went to the Golden Mickey which was being performed at in the threate it was amazing, felt like you were watching something on boardway, could believe you were on a cruise ship. Tingles all over.

After we headed to the resturant for a yummy dinner, I felt soo stuffed after couldnt move but we all headed up to deck 9 for the pirate party where there was more food served!!! Just could eat anymore!!!!!! Pirate party was good, bit of fightning between Captain hook, but Mickey saves the day, then DISNEY style, there were fireworks off the ship. Which is the only ship in the world that is allowed to do it. Get another good night.

Disney Cruise...............

So the last day was our day at sea, and in the morning we had booked our spa treatment for 8am, nice and early good way to start the day. We had this villa that looked over the ocean, we were speakless. We had a foot soak then we had time in the hot tub, jus Chris and I, so lovely. After we had our treatments, Chris had a full body massage with hot stones and I had a wrap with a half body hot stones. It was amazing, we both had our massages in the same room, so relaxing. Then to finish off we sat outside and we were served green tea with fresh fruit. What can I say WOW WOW!! We felt very lucky. Cost alot but sooo worth every penny. Our consultants even gave us a magical moment cerifiate, as they thought we were a really sweet couple. AWWWWW.

The rest of the day we relaxed by the pool and soaked up the sun. Played cards with our waterproof cards soo cool. Beat Chris at Black Jack, hehe

In the evening we ate at Aminators Plaite so cool, when you sit down all the walls at black and white and as the evening goes the walls start to come to life with colour. Four days have been amazing, we have been spoilt and eaten soooo much. We have enjoyed every minute.

This morning we had to get up at 5am to be a emiation for 6am to get our passorts checked, we watched the sun come up. As you can see from Chris's face we didnt want to leave. Every part was amazing all the shows the resturants the weather, sooo nice to be pampered!!!!!!!

Cocoa Beach

One thing we wanted to do out here was surfing, so we rented a car and were lucky to get a convertiable for the two days. So with the roof down and the wind in our hair we drove to Cocoa beach on the east coast of Florida.

We booked a surf lesson with Ron Johns, we got there a bit early and did a bit of shopping in the Ron Johns shop, could have brought the whole shops and more!!!! Our lesson was for an hour, the sea was pretty rough and we were give safety lessons on rip tides, but I felt safe as we had our instrustor with us. We headed down to the beach carrying our surf beach. (oh we looked soo cool). We got battered by the waves after an hour, but it was brilliant. I stood up the board and Chris even caught a wave all by himself. We both have the bug now.

We stayed the night in Cocoa and headed to the beach the next day we brought a body board and spent the day on the beach soaking up the sun. The waves were still rough, but we managed to catch some waves body boarding. Weather was amazing too, tan is coming along nicely. Now we can go surfing down in cornwall when we get back!

Hurriance season has started yesterday, by the afternoon the heavens opened and it didnt stop raining all night. Not brilliant today either!!!!! Hopefully we will get some good thunderstorms.

Wekiwa Springs

Chris and I managed to get the same days off and we rented a car and visited Wekiwa Springs State Park which is about 40mins away. It was a beauitful day, we first hired two kayaks and spent two hours exploring the rivers. It was amazing, to get right in to the heart of Florida. It was so pretty, so much wildlife so close to you.

Loads of turles and we even saw an alligator!!!! It was soooo close.

It was soo peaceful and relaxing, at some points the river was really narrow and we had to get between the tree that had fallen in to the river.

Wekiwa Springs.....

Also well as the rivers there is a natural spring that you can go swimming in, very refreshing.

We chilled out on the hill enjoyed the sun, for lunch we had a bbq with yummy steaks.

Such a beautiful place great way to spend the day, soaking up nature.

Family come to visit

The last two weeks Mum, Dad and Chloe came to see Chris and I. We all had loads of fun, for the first 4 days they were here we headed down to Key West. Dad had hired a HUMMER, oh yes i love hummers. It was sooooo huge, we even had dvd screens in the back of the chairs. On the way down we stopped at the Everglades and went out on a airboat to see the crocos!!! We saw a few and it was cool to glide over the water.

After we walked around the park and saw the crocos up close.
We spent the rest of the afternoon driving down to the keys, it was beauitful. Just islands after islands with bridges running over them. We arrived in evening and checked in to this beauitful suites. They were amazing, was comfortable.

The next morning we rented bikes for two days we were there and we all went exploring, Key West is soooo pretty. The sea is sooo blue and sky was sooo blue. Felt so relaxed and chilled out.

We went to the smallest bar in the world and i had a drink out of a coconut, hummm it was a bit strong!!!!!!!!!

We spent the afternoon cylcing around the town and taking in the sights, we went to Ernest Hemmingways house which is beauitful and we climbed Key West lighthouse the views were lovely.

Yet again I hated climbing the stairs but i made it!!!! yeah. In the evening we went out on a Sunset snockel cruise. It was amazing.

Chris and I had brought underwater camera cases so we tested them out and got some cool pictures.
Watching the sun go down while we cruised back in to port was something else, Sunsets are amazing in Florida and being in the southest most point in Florida the sunset was even better.

We all loved our bikes, made it sooo easy to get around town. The second day we cylced to a nearby beach and spent the day there. We hired kyates and Chris and I raced Mum and Chloe along the shore. It was great to be out on the water soaking up the sun.

The collage above with the picture bottom right is a picture of our suite we stayed in sooo nice.
We didnt want to leave Key West, but on the 4th day we travelled back to Orlando and on the way we stopped at Maimi. We drove along South Beach where all the resturants are and stopped and had lunch and dipped our toes in the sea.

So back in Orlando we did DISNEY!!!!! One morning we went to Tyhoon Layoon, it was quiet so we did the rides really quickly. Love this water park as it is soooo relaxing. I fell asleep and chris built a Corna Castle.

We went to Animal Kingdom on one of our days off, we got their early and we saw sooo many animals.

Chloe hadnt been on Expedtion Everest so we went on it twice hehe. soo good. We watched the parade.
For dinner we went to the Animal Kingom Lodge and went to Boma which was lovely, very yummy steaks. We watched the animals in the lodge, remembered when we stayed there which was soo good.
On our second day off we played crazy golf and then headed to universal to do some shopping and have dinner at Nascar resturant, Yummy.

In the evening we headed to MGM to Watch Fanstamic, was is always a good feel good show and all hadnt watched it was a long time. Good way to finish the day.

On our last day off we went to Epcot and show Mum the flower and garden festival, soo pretty with all the flowers. We walked around the world taking in the sights rather than taking in the drink!!!!!! hehe

Love all the flowers statues soo good.

Me, Chris and Dad had a go on the the segways, so strange!!! As part of the festival their is a butterfly garden, so pretty. Chris took some lovely pictures.

Oh and a few more pictures of the HUMMER!!! Sooo good to have family here and see more of Florida. Sad to see them go, but we all had fun. xxxxxxxxxxxx

Soaking up Disney!!

Between friends and family coming out, Chris and I had the same days off we went to one of the Disney resorts for the afternoon and watch the magic kingdom fireworks in the evening. We had a lovely dinner and spent the evening chilling out on the hamkets on the beach, what more could you ask for. We watched the sun go down over the wedding chapel and then Wishes started on the castle. It was amazing to see them from a distance.

The next day we headed to MGM and went on Tower of Terror and Rocknroller coaster which i love. We had lunch in the Sci Fi Resturant which is themed on a drive in movie, so you sit a down car and have a burger while old films and shown on the big scence. It feels like it is night time. soo cool.

We finished off the evening by watching Four for a Dollar which Chirs loves. We are very lucky to have these parks on our door step. Good couple of days off

Leanne and Ian Come to Visit

After Joe and Kelly went home on the Monday. My good friends Leanne and Ian arrived on Thursday, Leanne had never been to America and never experienced Disney so i was determined to convert her. hehe. They rented a villa for 10days and let Chris and I stay there which was so lovely. Getting up in the morning and going for a swim before work. You can see the boys did there man thing and were in charge of the bbq!!! Chris and Ian raved about Gatorland was one morning we got up at stupid O'clock and headed to Gatorland we were the first ones in the car park and had to wait outside for it to open!!! While ago the main entrance was burnt down but the big mouth was left.

I was very impressed we feed the croco's and saw them jump to eat the chickens. Even had a train ride. We tried croco ribs and nuggets!!!!!!!!!!
I even sat on a croco!!!!!!! was a bit nervous!!!

Chris and I manged to get three days off, on the first we headed down to Clearwater which I love. The boys wanted to go sea fishing but cos we had a bit of storm recently the water was to rough so we decided to check in to a lovely hotel on the beach and lazied around drinking for the afternoon while soaking up the sun, boy did we soak up the sun!!!!!!!!! bit red!!!!

I love the sunset at Clearwater so beauitful. The next morning we headed back to Orlando and went to Mall at Mallenia to do some serious shopping. We spent soooo much but we got sooo much as well. Loved that everything is sooo cheap. Leanne and Ian brought this brilliant glass container with a tap, ideal for Pimms. OOOO i cant wait to try it out. Chris brought a BBQ book, boys and they toys!!! We even found a store that did all sorts of bbq sauces the boys were in their element!!! Leanne and I had fun in MAC!!

After the Mall we went to Pro Bass World the true America. It is soooo huge and you can can anything to do with hunting, fishing, camping, bbqs. It is amazing!!!!!!! Even had a go an shotting!!!

In the evening took Leanne and Ian to the Melting Pot to experience to the moutain of food that you eat. It was nice to dress up and get ready slowly.

Our last day was a DAY of Disney, We went Magic Kingdom to show Leanne were it all started. We rode the monarail in the very front. I think, we did a couple of rides and watched the show in front of the castle. Which gave us all a warm and fuzzy feeling.

From Magic Kingdom we headed to Epcot to Drink Around the World. We started in Canada, then it was on to UK, where i could finally have a Pimms (7months). We had two drinks in the UK so by the time we went to France we all felt a little merry!!! hehe. We had a drink in every country, even Sakey in Japan. Leanne and I had pear earring made in Japan, were we picked the osters. They are really pretty.

We were all pretty merry by time we got to Mexico. We decided to go to the UK and get dinner there to watch the fireworks as they are the best view.
They are amazing Leanne loved them.

We finished off the evening messing around on the strollers and in the mech shops. It was brilliant day and i think i converted Leanne on Disney. hehe

This was the last night, we went to a lovely resturant called Seasons 52, it was brilliant. Great way to finish the hols. Been so good Leanne and Ian being here, didnt want to say goodbye. Miss you guys lots. We were keenos!!!!!!, and the amount of bbq sauces Ian took home!!!! Cant wait to taste them.

Joe and Kelly Come to Visit

The last few weeks have flown by!!!! Back on April 1st Chris's sister Joe and her best bud Kelly started their adverture to see us in sunny florida. Was soooo nice to meet them both and we had the best time. Or though the early morning were a tough one!!!!! but it was all worth it. We went to seaworld which i havent been to since being out here. I put all the different pictures together as there are sooooo many. Joe and Kelly were happy snappers hehe.

We tried on sooo many hats, and even danced in the streets to the Blues Brothers. I was even picked to star in a stunt clip in Universal!!! Thanks!!!!!

Joe, Kelly thank you for the t-shirts!!! We make a good thing 1 and thing 2!! Well i think sooo!!!!

We got wet a good number of times!!!! more like soaked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved playing crazy golf, i was sooo close to winning!! hehe

As you can see Chris couldnt take the early morning and tried to get 40 winks while we qued for lunch, that was one long que!!!!

Kelly over come her fears and loved the rollcoaster by the end of the holidays, and proberly brought all the merchanise in Disney. hehe.

It was really sad to them go but we had the best time and cant wait to see you both again. Will have to show me around the sights of nottington!!

Clearwater

On Wednesday Chris and I headed to Clearwater beach on the west coast of Florida. It was a warm day with a few clouds in the sky. I love this beach, so beauitful!!! I took Chris to Crabby Bills, best seafood in town. Yummy yummy. After we walked along the beach to watch the sun go down. Really is lovely. There was lots of entainers on the pier wich were good to watch!!

P.s I am writing while i am coughing and snezzing!!!!!! I have to FLU!!!!!!!!! (and chris too) Poor us!!! hehe

St Paddys Pool Party

A few days before ST Paddys, Disney programs had a pool at the commons for us. It was pretty cool, we had pizza as much as we could eat and sodas. Plus the best bit was that Minnie and Mickey were there, dancing away with the DJ. Starting to get warmer, so it was good chance to catch some sun before work.

Disney Bowling!

Couple of weeks ago, the whole of Ecpot did sponsed bowling we put together teams for each pavilon and had to wear these lovely yellow t-shirt!! It was soo much fun, our team was the best. I managed to get a strike before Chris hehe not that I am competitive!!!!! The Mexico were the loudest with all their shouting!!!
It was good to get everyone together, top left is all of us F&B lot, there was still people at work but we were lucky to get the morning off.

Love my glasses we even improved my bowling skills!!!!!!!! I raised $75 which I was quite impressed my.

LAS VEGAS BABY!!!!!!!

WOW what a 5 days!!! We have been to the Gambling Capital of the World, won some money, lost some money, seen 1 of the wonders of the world, been a cowboy/cowgirl, been in a helicopter, relaxed in the sun, been dropped off the side of a building!!!!!, seen the old vegas, met lots of famous peeps! We had the best time. We arrived on the Thursday in the afternoon we checked into our hotel we were staying at the hilton, our room was huge!!!! We wondered round the hotel, checked out the casino and the pool, where you go you can gamble even at the bars!!! We were going to go to the strip in the evening, but we were sooo tired! We slept for 11hours that night!! Next morning we up early 4:30am, we heading on out to the Grand Canyon. It was amazing, we were flown out there by helicopter which was amazing. The weather was prefect and the views were out of this world. We circled the hoverdam for a bit.

We flow over some beauitful lakes and even saw a volcano!!

Las Vegas..........

As we entered the Canyon, it was such an amazing experience.

We landed at a ranch, we were met by real cowboys and taken to the ranch on a wagon. In the background there was a huge mountain called Spirte Mountain. Huge!!!!
We had breakfast and then we went on a horse ride through the wildness.

Dont we look good on our horses!!! Real pros!!!

Las Vegas........

It was soo cool riding in the real wildness we didnt want it to end. We we got back to the cowboys did a gun fight, thought I had walked back in time 100years!!! hehe

On the way back we flew over the Vegas strip which was pretty amazing to see all the hotels, they were huge!!
In the afternoon we checked out the strip, even hotel was a different theme and beauitful in it own right.
The Veintain is based on Italy and Huge, cant express how huge these hotels are!!!!!

Just to make you all even more jealous, Chris and I are off to Las Vegas for 5 days tomorrow. I cant wait, hoping to win lots of money so we dont have to work ever again!!!!!! not sure that will happen!! We are going to the Grand Canyon as well so we will see all the sights. And we just found out that it is NASCAR weekend so it is going to be busy!!!!

Bet you all cant wait for the pictures, so will see you in a few days. Never know we might be millionaires!!!!!!!!!! xxxx

Carry on Camping!!!!!

Chris and I decided that we wanted to go camping on our two days off, we brought a bargain of a tent which came with chairs, sleeping bags. We brought few other camping things and we set off to a Tomoka State Park near Daytona. All week the weather had been amazing, soo hot. Then we go away and it RAINS!!!! but it didnt stop us we out up the tent and went exploring. We didnt realise but it was Daytona Bike Week and the camp site was full of bikes which was interesting to see all the bikes. We wanted to go cannoing but as the weather wasnt brilliant we thought we would save that for another day.

We made sandwich before we went and had them for lunch with a beer. All very yummy. The rain stopped for us to cook dinner on our open fire that Chris maintained the whole evening, kept us warm. For dinner we cooked fish which we wrapped in foil and place on the fire. We filled it with herbs and spices and then made rice. WOW it was amazing so good, we felt very proud of ourselves. For pudding we had bananas wich chocolate cooked on the fire. It was the best!!! We sat under the stars for the rest of the evening and had mashmallows, yummy. Felt very relaxing and chilling out. We headed off to bed, and few minutes later the rain started!!!!

We woke up in the morning to more rain, thought we were back home in the UK. But the rain let off again for us to cook breakfast and pack the tent away. On the way home we went through Daytona beach to check out Bike Week. It was mad sooo many bikes everywhere, there was main street which was closed to traffice and only for the bikes. The noise was something else, all cruising up and down the street. Some of the bikes were amazing, really suped up.

Well we have all the camping gear so we plan to do alot more, maybe when the weather is better. hehe

Justin Timberlake

Last Thursday Chris and I drove to Tampa to see Justin Timberlake in concert, I was very excited, hehe. It was such a lovely day we had played tennis in the afternoon which was brilliant makes you feel all refreshed. We arrived in Tampa early and we sat outside in the sun having a couple of beers, very yummy.
I was little disppointed in the show as the sound wasnt brilliant but it was held in a ice hockey arena so the sounds echos. But other than that it was brilliant, PINK was supporting and she was brill too. Really enjoyed Justin, love his songs and had a good sing along.

Would to see him again but this time somewhere like Wembley.

Valentines Day Take Two!!!

On Thurday Chris and I got up early again and headed to the hotel where we meet the others for the balloon ride, weather was prefect this time. We all headed out in the bus with the basket and balloon on the trailers. The luanch site was out in the sticks, we helped set up th basket and the balloon. As it started to get light there was alot of mist around. We climbed in to the basket and the next minute we were in the air.

It was the best feeling lifting off the ground, sooo gentle and peaceful.

As we got high we came out of the mist to see the sunrising, it was amazing and beauitful, the trees below and see all the lakes. There wasnt a cloud in the sky, you could see for 25miles. So nice to be away from Disney and see the true florida with all the woodland.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Enjoyed every minute in the air. Came quite worried how we land, then our polit said we need to bend our knees and hold on tight!!!!!! AAHHH

We landed with a soft bump and then we helped pack all the equiment away. Then cracked open couple bottle of campage and toasted the flight. It was such an amazing experience, thank you Chris xxx

Valentines Day

Sorry havent updated blog recently, dont know where time goes!!!! I have been working 6 days a week!!! Need a day off!!! Also Chris and I have just moved in to new appartment with peeps from the UK, one bedroom appartments too nice and clean!! So lots to update on, Valentines Day Chris surprised me with getting up at 4:00 am in the morning and wouldnt tell me where we were going!!! He took me to a hotel on the 192 where we sat in the resturant, i must have been a nightmare had no idea what we were doing!!! hehe. Well we waited for a while to find out the Chris and planned a sunrise hot air balloon ride!!! how amazing!! The only thing was that the weather was not good and it was cancelled!! Such a shame, but we still had an amazing day together. We booked massaged at Animal Kingdom lodge, before we went to the rainforest cafe for lunch, the massages were amazing, i felt sooo relaxed. In the afternoon we played crazy golf which was lots of fun!!! I got a hole in one, yeah!! Chris only beat by a small amount!! I will win one of these days. As the sun went down we walked around the boardwalk and laid on the sun lounges at the beach club.

In the evening we went to House of Blues for dinner then we went to Cirque du Soleil which was amazing, we had brilliant seats. There was soo much going on stage didnt know where to look. All the performs were brilliant. loved every minute.

Even though we didnt go up in the balloon we had the best day, such lovely weather and the company was amazing.

Wow New York is amazing!!! We had the best time ever. It was sooo cold but enjoyed every minute. Our hotel was amazing, we were on 42nd street, right to Grand Central Station and the Chrystal Building, picture of the view from our room we were on the 34th Floor, soooo high. We arrived about lunch time so we checked in and then headed out in to the city to get tickets for the threate.

We went to Grand Central Station, it was beauitful. So clean and well kept. Very busy with peeps, rushing around. There is some famous pictures of the station, have one in my room back home in the UK so it was really weird seeing them for real.

We took the Subway to Time Square, but it turned out that it was walking distance. We came out of the subway to these huge buildings, wow they were huge and the streets were soo busy with peeps and yellow cabs everywhere. We got tickets for RENT, was very excited. We also brought I LOVE NY T-shirts, hehe I am wearing mine now writing this!!!! Couldnt get over that we were in New York. Wanted to go for sooo long.

We headed to fifth ave to do some shopping, H&M here I come!! Also wanted to buy a ring from Tiffany's it is soo lovely. As we were coming out of Tiffany's there was a reporter taking pictures and they interviewed us for the New York Post about Valentines Day. We had lunch in Carleys middle of Time Square, so good to watch everywhere while we were eating. We saw boardway and walked around the streets for the afternoon, we saw rockfeller centre and the ice rink. As it got dark we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the threate.

More pictures of the friday afternoon, it was sooo cold as the sun wasnt out. It had snowed in the morning.

Chris with the hot dog stands, we had lots of Dirty water dogs. sooo good. In the evening we headed back to Boardway to see Rent, it was raining so we catch a cab. The show was amazing, it was in this really run down threate. The music was the best.

After we came out the rain had stopped so we soaked up the atmosphere in Time Square, we went to Starbucks for a tea and coffee, yummy. Warmed us up.

Saturday morning we woke up to a beauitful day in the city, we got up early and headed off to the Empire State Building, on the way we stopped for breakfast at a deli, it was the best yummy egg and bacon roll and a green tea. Again it was cold (very cold)!!!

We went all the way to the top, the views were amazing accross the city, you could see for 25miles. You could see accross the city to central park it was amazing. I love all these pictures!!!

There was even snow up on top and the wind was strong!!!

After we walked south to see the flatiron building which was cool, then headed towards canel street where all the cheap shops are, oh i loved it!!!!

We got some really lovely pictures from this shop. We catch the subway to Ground Zero, to see the site of the World Trade Centre, it was really strange to see this big building site. There was people protesting and the events and there were these pictures on the railings from the day which were very moving!!! Really glad we went to see the site.

We walked to Battery Park were the boats leave for the statue of liberty, but the wind was sooo strong and cold that we said we come back when it is warmer in the summer. We caught the subway back to Manhatten to Central Park where we went on a horse and carriage ride through the park. Very romantic, we snuddled up down a blanket and saw the sights of the park. Really enjoyed it, one of the things that can be ticked of the list. It was the best.

Saturday night we went to see Tarzan, we was sooo good the singing and dancing was amazing. On the Sunday we checked out the hotel and we were able to leave our luggage there while we did some more sight seeing. We headed to Central Park to go ice skating, it was the amazing, so beauitful witht the sun and the city in the background. Chris even fell over, hehe very funny.

After we wondered around the park, taking in the sights. Yet again it was sooo cold and all the lakes were frozen over, the ice was sooo thick.

As we flew of the city the sun was setting and I was able to take some pictures of the city. Had the best three days. I cant wait to go back in the summer and see the city in a different light. We saw soo much, but there is still soo much to see. Love the buzz of the city, the quietest of the park, love broadway, love fifth aveue hehe. OH LOVE NEW YORK!!!!!!

Cowboys

Saturday is Cowboys night,which is a bar that plays cowboys music you can even line dance. It is the best. Had such a good night dancing away on the dance floor. Took some time to understand the dances!!!!! but we got their in the end. Will def be going again. I even got to wear my cowboy hat and boots.

Epcot

On Saturday Chris and I headed to Epcot to be a tourist for the day. We had our picture taken at the front of the park. We then went on Soarin, it is the best ride. It was Chris's first time and he loved. We also went on the new ride Find Nemo, it was really cute. We had such nice weather we were soo lucky.

For lunch we went to Germany as both our roommates are Germany. We was sooo good, we big jugs of beer!!!!!

I am soooooooooooooooo excited! Chris and I have just booked to go to New York for 3 three days on Friday. I am jumping round my room!!!! We might even have snow!!! AAHHH!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!

So much to fit in, we def going to be going to broadway to see a show, see all the sights. Our hotel in right by Grand Central Station. Going to Time Square, Fifth Avenue and do some Shopping, Tiffany's here I come. hehe!!!

I am so exited, hope you are all jealous. hehe

Hitting 5 months!!!!!!!!

Wow I have nearly been here 5 Months, where has time gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6months will be scarey!!! half way!! There are lots of peeps about to leave as their contracts are up, going to be sad to see them go. My roomie leaves in 6 weeks to go home to Canada!!! Going to be weird as I feel really settled in my appartment.

The Rose and Crown resturant closes from the 22nd Feb for 3 weeks, I will be okay as I can work in the bar, but the servers will be back out on the podium!!! hehe!!

Cant wait to see everyone that is coming out, Miss everyone loads.

Vero Beach Resort

Last minute on Friday, we booked two nights at Disney's Vacation Club Vero Beach Resort, it is about 2 hours away on the Alanitic Coast. It was amazing, we couldnt of asked for nicer weather. We headed down there late on Friday evening. Our room was amazing, over looking the ocean. You could hear the waves breaking. We unpacked then went for a wonder around the resort, we made reservations at Sonya's, five star resturant!! Then we had a couple of drinks in the bar. Our meal was very yummy and felt very full after. We went back to our room and sat on the balconcy and listened to the ocean, and the sky was soooo clear, the stars were sooo bright it was beauitful.

We woke up pretty early (well i did) hehe, weather was lovely. There was some morning surfers catching the waves. Was good to blow the cobb webbs away again!!
We went down for breakfast and then went for a walk along the beach. Good way to start the day, oh i loved it!! Jus needed Tessa running along side us (she would loved it) Water was cold but refreshing. For the rest of the day we chilled out on the beach, soaking up the sun. Will get that tan back!!! hehe

The next morning we checked out, Chris with the bags!!!!!!!! Then we rented some bikes and went on an adverture. It was soo hot, we headed along the sidewalk, some of the houses were amazing. Our map took us to the Indian River, which was beauitful. Lots of boats enjoying the weather. I finally got some exerice!!!! will have to keep it up!!
After our adverture we drove in Vero town and checked out the beach and had some lunch. It is a very quiet town with lots of locals not very touristy which was nice.

We didnt want to go home straight away so drove to Coco Beach, we saw the Disney cruise ship in the distance, oh i want to go!! We sat on the beach for a bit watching everyone. Then we headed to Ron Johns Surf Shop (bet your jealous Hockless's) hehe. Brought a really cute bag and Chris brought some flip flops and a Gone Surfing Sign.

Yet again had a brill couple of days, really getting to see the Florida that want to see. Back to work to earn some money for the next trip. Love it out here!!!!

Lads and Lasses!!!!!!

So yet again another Monday night!! This week lasses theme was "Miss World" and lads was Popstar Lads. I was Miss Switzerland, very happy as I love it there!! I jus wore White with these red and white snow shoes and a red hat and gloves!! We all had sashes. Chris and some of he other lads went as the Beatles, they looked brilliant. After the normal gartherings at the commons we all headed to Coconut Willies!!!!! This ramdon place, owned by british place where they place karato and have cheap drinks. But it was a real laugh as we all havent been out together for a long time. Everyone made brilliant effort, was sooo funny. I was pretty drunk by the end of it!!! hehe!!!

Animal Kingdom Lodge

Last Friday, Chris and I treated oursleves to a night at the top Disney resort... Animal Kingdom Lodge. WOW it was amazing. The theme is africa and the resort is set on a Savannah which your room over looks, so when you wake up in the morning you can sit out on your balcony and watch all the animals. We were lucky and had a fanastic view, it was sooo relaxing. Our room was lovely, I didnt want to leave.

The view from our room!!! wow!!! The pool area was brilliant too, we had good weather so we laid out in the sun for the afternoon, they had spa hot tubs!!! sooo good!!! and they were open to late so after dinner Chris and I headed back to the hot tub after dinner until Midnight!! Under the stars!

There is lots of different areas to the lodge, you can walk out to the middle of the Savannah so you can get up close to the animals, there is area where they have a fire at night and you can sit around in rocking chairs, Chris loved this hehe!!! Sunset room where you can sort of watch the sun go down. The lobby is self is huge with the big glass window over looking the Savannah. Felt very lucky to be able to stay here!.

Chris and I spent the afternoon chilling out around the resort, drinking cocktails by the pool and enjoying the views across the Savannah. Life couldnt be better.

In the evening we made reservations at Jeko, top resturant at the resort. We headed to the bar for a few cocktails before, well I had the cocktails!! hehe! Loving Sour Apple Martinis at the mo!!

Animal Kingdom

Next morning, we had breakfast in bed and enjoyed the views some more!! After we checked out we headed to Animal Kingdom Park. Chris hadnt been on the new Expedition Everest. Love Animal Kingdom, really chilled out park.

We watch these guys doing tricks with skipping role and we saw "tough to be a bug", love the glasses!!!

We also went to the see the new Finding Nemo Musical, it was sooo good. Reminded me of the Lion King stage show saw in London.

We had to watch the Festival of the Lion King, it is the best.

As we were leaving we managed to get some pictures with some of the characters. I met Minnie, yippee. And our boss!!

Melting Pot

In the evening we went to the Melting Pot for dinner, sooo good!! We had a cute little booth and I had to have a sour apple martini!! The meal is 4 courses, first cheese fondue then salad then you cook your meat and then you have the chocolate fondue!! wow!! We were full by the end, wont eat for a week!!

As you can see we are pretty full!!!!

Had the best two days, loved Animal Kingdom Lodge, cant wait to stay there again!!!

Tu Tu Tango

Last night few of us went out to Tu Tu Tango a resturant on International Drive, was a brilliant night. The resturant was really different, we were surrounded by paintings and artist drawing. The was a belly dances and break dances. It was a really chilled out meal, Tapas style we ordered sooo much food!!!! But it was all very yummy.

After we finished our meal we played mini golf next door at Pirates Cove, last time I played was in Great Yarmouth with Chris and he won soo i was determined to win this time. It was the funniest game I have ever played. Adam kept getting hole in ones and kept saying how he didnt want to play in the beginning!!!! Half way round I was second to Adam and Chris was third!!!! As there was alot of mini ponds as you go round, Mike kept trying to get us wet!!!!!!!
After the 18th hole, I counted the scores and......... I WON!!!! YIPPEE!!!

Such a good night, never laughed so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Years Eve!!!!

Wow where did this year go!!! Didnt think I would be working for Disney this time last year!!!! But I am sooo glad I am. I worked the bar New Years Eve, we had a great night. Few pictures of the night and the bar team, love these guys. Even Chris was behind the bar helping with stocking as we were soo busy, there was a total of around 79 thousands peeps the park!!!!!!!!!! At midnight we went out on to the lower deck on the resturant and watched the fireworks Wow they were amazing.

It has been a very different Christmas and New Year, but I have enjoyed it and i am lucky to have Chris here. I wish every a Happy New Eve and I cant wait to see everyone that is coming out here to visit in 2007.

Trip to St Augustine

Last weekend Chris and I headed up the East coast to St Augustine to get away for a couple of days. We went to the beach first on the friday, so nice to feel the sea air again and blow again the cobb webs. Chris and I sat in the sun watching the surfers and the guys fishing. Then we walked along the beach and dipped our feet in the water, very cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After we checked in to our hotel and then went to the St Augustine Light house and climbed the 219 steps to the top. I was very proud, there was a momment I thought will i make it!!!!!! But once we got to the top it was worth it, the views were amazing. You could see across to the main town and then out to sea. Really felt relaxed, love the oldest and all the history.

We were sooo lucky with the weather, considering it was December!!!!!

St Augustine...............

We went back to the hotel to get changed and then head in to the main historic city, our hotel was right in the waters edge by the bridge that takes you in to the city. So we walked over the bridge, was sooo pretty, the whole city was covered in white lights. We wondered around for a bit and found this cute resturant with a court yard to sit out in . We lovely, sat listening to music while we eat a very yummy dinner, lots of seafood. Very romantic, felt like we were on holiday.

The next day we headed back in to the city for a day of exploring, we first went for breakfast in this little bakery, yummy!!!! Then the best bit, we had a horse and carriage tour of the city, soooo good. We sat back in the sun, trotting round the city, learning all the history. The buildings were soo pretty, the artichure was amazing for how old it was. We saw the oldest house in the USA.
The gates to the city and apartly a little girls (ghost) sits on top of these gates guarding the city for her father!!! Spoky!!!
Loved it so much, all the houses with their balconies and rocking chairs, Chris wants a rocking chair!! hehe

St Augustine..........

Once the tour was finished we walked round the old Fort, that once was invaided by the British, we cant leave anything along!!! hehe. We weather was sooo beauitful, we sat up on to of the fort and waited for the peeps to set off the canon. So loud.

We laided out on edge of the Fort, soaking up the sun, was sooo relaxing, didnt want to leave. We watched all the boats out in the water. Dad you would have loved it.

For the rest of the afternoon we wondered round the city, eating ice cream such a messy boy hehe. We found a little bar, where we tried the own brewed beer, was pretty good. For dinner was eat at a really pretty place and sat out in the garden. Again had seafood cant get enough of it.
In the evening we went a Ghost walking tour, hummm was a bit scarey, esp the Fort at night!!!!!!! We never saw anything though. Chris and I was soo tried by the end of the day!!!!Had the best two days, good way to end 2006. Next day ended back to Orlando for Work (news year eve)!!!!!!!

Xmas Day

Its Xmas day!!!!!! We all woke at 7am to open our pressies, i brought Chris some Mickey Mouse Yellow Feet Slippers, look sooo cute. hehe. Thank everyone for the cards and pressies. Mum and Dad thank you sooo much for the christmas pudding from Tesco's oh I miss it. After opening the pressies i headed to work for the morning, I was working behind the bar, was pretty busy as it rained most of the day, felt like home!!!!

Finished work about 5, headed back to the commons to Laurens for an afternoon of drinking and dancing. Had a really good afternoon. We sang christmas songs and danced round the lounge. After everyone else finished work they also came over to laurens so we finished off the evening with more drinking and dancing!! hehe

Had a few momments though out the day when I thought about home and missed everyone, esp when guests kept saying "oh it must be hard to be away from you family"!!!!!! In a week it will be 2007!!!! Xmas Dinner!!!!!

As most of us were working Xmas day, Mike and I decided to cook xmas dinner at mine on Saturday, We invited couple peeps round that we were meet at the intervews back in march. Also my roomies. It was a great success, we had roast turkey and duck, very yummy. We also had stuffing and pigs in blankets, sprouts, roast potato's and veg. It was soooooo yummy, really got in the christmas mood. Also had apple pie and champagne. Very proud of myself cooking for everyone, Mum you would be so pleased.

So weird not being at home. This year I am working but it will be a good laugh. Just wont be the same though, really miss everyone loads.

I was given the day off as we are quiet at work at the momment so I went to MGM with Chris and some of the newbies. The weather wasnt brilliant, but we still managed to walk around. We went on tower of terror and rocknroller coaster which I love. We were about to go on back stage lot when we head 4 for Dollar playing, they are brilliant so we sat down at listened to them for a while. After we watch the car stunt show which is good. As we walked out the sky was getting darker!!! We decided to go on RocknRoller coaster one more time. When we came out the heavens had opened and it was pouring down with rain and I mean pouring!!!!!!!!!!!! We brought some ponchos which kept us a bit dry but the bottom of my jeans were wet through!!!!!! So funny!!!!

MGM XMAS Lights

On the Saturday the newbies had their Tradtions which means they get their IDs to get in to the parks. After they got back we headed to MGM to see the Osbourne Lights, which is a street covered in lights and every 15mins they dance to xmas music sooooo good gives you tingles all over. You really get in the Xmas mood. We then walked over to Epcot to watch the fireworks, as we were walking across we got to the boardwalk resort jus in time to see the shuttle launch go off, cant believe we saw, it was delayed a couple of days ago because of weather. I took a few pictures but you cant make it out. But seeing it was amazing, it light the sky up and we were watching it from miles away. Then as it went up in the sky you could see the fuel tanks break away from the shuttle. We were so lucky to it, one of the things to tick off the list.

Old Town & Bennigans

So Chris is here, Yippee!!! On Thursday Chris and I went out to dinner to The Red Lobster, finally!!!!! We then meet up with Arron, Beth, Charris and Andy at Old Town we went on the bumper cars sooooo much fun. After we went to Bennigans and Chris played his first game of the famous Quarters. hehe!!!!! We all had a good night.

Wow where has this year gone!!!!!!! Cant believe it is Xmas time already. As we are not going to be with family and friends for xmas, my roomies and I decided we would decorate our appartment. So we made a night of it, I made brownies and we had nibbles and eggnog. We played monploy after, the America version. Had a good night and we all got in the christams mood. All we need now it Santa to come.

Mum and Dad come to visit!!!

It has only been 9 weeks but missed Mum and Dad, so i was lucky they decided to come visit for 10days. So good to see them, I meet them at the All-Stars Movies Resort where i stayed with them for a couple of nights. On the Saturday I didnt have to start work till 4, so i took them to Epcot and showed them where i work and we wondered round the World Show case. We stopped in France for coffee and yummy cake. It was such a lovely day, weather was soo good. We went on the ride Soarin, it is the best ride ever. I headed to work at 4, mum and dad carried on wondering round and watched the fireworks.

I had Monday and Tuesday off so we went to Clearwater beach, the weather had suddenly turned cold, think mum and dad brought it with them from the Uk. hehe. We couldnt sunbath but it was nice to walk along the beach in the wind. We went to Crabby Bills for lunch which was the best. Had shrimp soo good. After we headed to the Mall to do some shopping.

On the Tuesday we went park hopping started at Animal Kingdom it was soooo cold, we went on Expedition Everest and watched the Lion King show.

After that we headed to MGM studios to watch Beauty and Beast show always good.

Mum and Dad come to visit

We then headed to MGM Studios we watched the beauty and the beast show which is very good, there were these four guys warming up the crowd before the show called Four for a Dollar, they were sooo good. Sang some xmas songs got us in the mood. After that we watched the xmas parade which was amazing and the best bit was at the end with Santa on his sledge.

After that we went to Epcot, we walked through the boardwalk resort which is sooo pretty but it was freezing cold. We wondered round the park and did a big disney shop, i brought sooo much stuff. We went on the ride space ship earth then headed to Rose and Crown for dinner. Had to stop on the way to take a picture of the tree sooo beautiful. I enjoyed the fireworks and we had the prefect view on the lower deck.

On Thursday i didnt start work till 4 so we went to Magic Kingdom in the morning, the castle looks sooo pretty, really nice picture. Also had to take a picture of the xmas tree, but ours in Epcot is the best. We wondered around for a bit and then i headed to work and left Mum and Dad to be kids for the day.!!! hehe

The last two nights Mum and Dad stayed at the Carribean Beach Resort, it was amazing so relaxing. Has little beaches and pools for each separte part. Saturday morning we went enjoyed the sun and relaxed by the pool, was sooo nice didnt want to go to work. Good to get some sun again.
Next day Mum and Dad went home, had a brilliant week. Miss you

Clearwater

On Tuesday Nat and I had the day off so we headed to Clearwater for the day, as the sun is still shinning. Got to make the most of the weather. It was such a lovely day, we both fell asleep on the beach was really nice to relax and have a good catch up with Nat.

Also love Clearwater was quite quiet this time which was nice. Felt soo goood to get some.

Kobes!!!

On Monday night, me, Candice and Steph went to this resturant just round the corner called Kobes, it was the best Japaninse food. They cook it all is front of you, I had steak, chicken and shrimp and it comes with veggies, noddles and rice. I was stuffed by the end!!! I also had susi, which was very yummy. Cant get enough of it out here.
Our chef was soooo funny and the best, everything was cooked soo well
You sit around this big table and you also have serves getting you drinks all the time. Couldnt finish it so we took it home, love that you do that over here. Safe it for later.

On Monday I had the day off so Me, Nat, James and Di drove Jilly to the airport as she was going home after her 8 week program out here. It was sad to see Jilly go, but she will be back in March for the year, yippee. I rented a car and we had fun driving to Sanford, we jus about fitted all of Jilly's lugguage in!!!!!

I have been 9 Weeks!!!! Xmas is really on its way now, it is Thanks Giving here on Thursday, the American will be cooking their turkey's. So Mum and Dad arrive on Friday, soooo excited going to stay in a disney resort with them, yippee. Then in three weeks Chris arrives, Yippe yippee very excited!! hehe

Candice and I brought a Xmas tree this week for the appartment and we are going to have stockings, so excited to be here for xmas.

Blue Martini

On Wednesday night I took Mike to Blue Martini with Candice and Bettina also some of her Germany friends. We got all dressed up and had a really good laugh, we said that we would limit ourselves to having two martini's as they are soo full huge, but in the end we had four!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as they are sooo good. We had a good dance and a giggle, good fun had by all.

St Augustine

On Wednesday there was a few of us that had the day off, so me, Candice, my other roomate Betttina and her friend Julie took a road to trip north to a town called St Augustine, it is the oldest town in the US. It was soooo pretty, we went to the beach first. The sun was out but it was pretty breeze. We walked along the pier and watched the surfs for a while and then sat on the beach sooo nice to get some fresh air.

After the beach we drove in to the town it was so pretty, with the old building, we went in to the St Augustine Church. We took wonder round the town, so good to see old american buildings with big baloncy's and swinging chairs on the porch's. We found this small wooden hut that sold coffees we were so cold, i cant get enough of punkin lattes at the momment so i had to have one. We walked down this street with all these wee shops, felt very spainish. For dinner we found this small italian resturant where we had the best pasta, soo good.

Have to go back to explore more and def try surfing.

Girls Day!!!!!!!!!!!

On one of my days off Candice, Tanis and I headed to Florida Mall, where we brought lots of goods. I needed winter stuff!!!! We got new dressing growns and Pjs, love Victoria Secrets!!!! When we left the mall it was pouring down with rain and soo dark. We stopped off to a yummy Thai restuarant on the way home. Then headed home to get in to our new PJs and watch the OC, what a perfect day.

Monday Night Lasses!!!

Monday is Lasses and I finised work early so headed over, had a good night and a good catch up with Nat. Had such a laugh with James and Mike. The theme of lasses was childrens party so we all wore hats and i won a party bag, thats why I am wearing silly glasses!!!

Fun Packed Day!!!!!!!!!!

I had just a good day on my day off, we had rented a car for a couple of days so we made the most of it and headed to the Polyisian resort where we hired these little speed boats. There is two big lakes around the Magic Kingdom and some of the resorts, that you can zoom round, it was soooo much fun. I kept getting covered in water from James and Mikes waves, so funny. Good way to blow all the cob webbs away.

After that we drove to Universal Studios and went to the Islands of Adverture, which I had yet not done. We went on all the rides loads of times was soooo quiet.
Last year I lined up for spiderman ride for nearly 2hours, this time I walked on!!!!! So we made the most of it and went of the Hulk like 5 times.

To finish off the day we booked a table at Chef de France, in the worldshow case. It was sooo yummy and the best service. I had pate, lamb, them apple tart, wow it was sooo yummy. We also watched the fireworks.
Two resturants down now!!!!

I had such a good day, it makes it all worth while.

Halloween!!!

Halloween is big thing in America, we go all out. So lasses on Monday was fancy dress, i went as a Hawiaian girl. It was fun night seeing everyone dressed up. Lasses was mixed with the Canadian girls so I went with my roomate candice who was dressed as a movie star. We headed over to PI.

Le Cellier

My roommate Candice works as a server in the Canadian resturant Le Cellier, it is one of the top resturants in Disney World and there is a three month waiting list to get a reservation!!!! We are lucky, we can get in with Candice, I was sooo excited about the food as I had heard it was sooo good and it was!! I had mussels to start always a must when they are on the menu, then I had steak, OH MY GOD!!! it was the best, it melted in your mouth. To wash it all done with, Candice and I had Ice wine martinis, very very yummy. I was sooo full after I could hardly walk!!!! We also ate soo many bread sticks, and dipped them in to the famous cheese soup. Wow it is the best meal sooo far!!!

Animal Kingdom

I love Animal Kingdom, it is such a relaxing park. Went there with my roomate Candice and Gary, we had a reall good day. We rode the Expedition Everest twice, love that ride it is sooo good. We saw soo many animals as it was a really cool day.

We went to see the 4D tough to be a bug show it was brilliant soo funny, had these 3d spiders which i didnt like!!!! It was sooo nice wondering around watching all the animals.

Universal Horror Night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So on the firday night I went to Unverisal Horror night, oh my god i was soooo scared. Compared to Disney, this is sooo scary!! There was these different houses that they had set up, each one different, there was one inside a mental hopsital, one about all different horror movies, one called people down the stairs I screamed sooo much. You walk through the houses and people jump out on you. I was sooo scared, I was given chased down the street by a guy with a chain saw!!!! I was done soo well with all the actors. There was also this street you walked through and walking amoung us, there were these ramdon died people that make you jump!!!

It was a really good night, soo glad I braved it!!!!!

Mickey's Not so Scarey Halloween Party!!!!!

Finally I passed my bar test so I could go out!!!!!! I headed to Magic Kingdom on Thursday for Halloween Party. It was sooo good. they give you these orange bags and you go trickle or treating. We got soooo much candy, I am still eating it now!!!!!! They also had a special fireworks display and parade which were both soo excellent. It really got me in the mood for Halloween.

We went on the Haunted House which seemed more scarey, not sure why!!!

The fireworks were amazing, it included all the villians of disney. We had a really good night, so excited about halloween.

Doms Birthday at HOB!!!

Few weeks ago it was Dom's 21st birthday and we all went to House of Blues on the sunday. It was a good night, so many people there. From 11 till 12 girls get free drinks always a good thing. My roommates were also there, Deborah and Bettina. We all had a good dance and catch up. HOS is a good night out, on the dance they have these dance off with the peeps we stand upstairs and watch, it is like being in a flim (save the last dance).

So I havent updated my blog for a while, as my computer has broken!!!!!! I have sooo much to catch up on. I have now been here 8 weeks, which is mad!!!!!!! So I passed all my tests for the bar and I am now a tipped bar tender in the Rose and Crown Pub, I love it.

So it is cooling down here now but i am still wearing summer stuff. Christmas is coming and the parks are all getting ready. Getting all excited, or though it will be strange to be away from home. Miss everyone loads. But Mum and Dad arrive in 10days really excited to see them and then Chris arrives in 4 weeks, cant wait. Good things to come.

Hopefully I will have my computer working soon so i can update with all my pictures.

Drinking Around the World!!!!!!!!

Saturday was Dom's 21st Birthday and I was lucky to have the day off!!! We thought the best way to spend it was drinking round the world in Epcot. Sooo many people do it!! We started at Canada, where we had Ice Wine, very nice. Also had to try the Salmon from the food and wine!! yummy!! Next was the UK, we stayed here for a while and went to the beer tasting. We got Dom a half yard of beer, a whole 28oz!!!!!!! I had a Irish Cream and also had to try the Irish triffle, wow it was the best!!!!!!

Dom is the one in the blue T-shirt, we made him a mask!! Also in the Uk we went to see Winnie the Pooh and friends, love them. We also met Alice in wonder land and Mary Poppins.

After the Uk we headed to France, we had Grand Marier Orange Slushs!!! Strong!!! I went to see my room mate Bettina in Germany. I had rose champange from Italy,yummy yummy!! In China I brought a little fan, soo cute.

I went to see Nat and Di and work, they work in Merch in the UK.

We continued on to Japan, where I brought a Umbrella and they wrote my name in Japanse on it. Sooo pretty. Then Norway was next had to try the hats, I didnt drink anything in here as I have enough by then!!!!! Last country was mexico and cos Dom and Jenna's house mates work there we got to seek on to the boat ride and have a whole boat to ourselves. The Margaritas are soooo good, that was my last drink!!!

After Epcot we headed to Downtown Disney to Planet Hollywood. We had some cocktails, but I could only drink one!!! Such a lightweight!!!
They brought out a cake for Dom and we sang happy birthday, it was a really good day. But I was sooooo tired by the end!!!! Dom and Chris, Jenna and Di headed into Pleasure Island, but Vicki and I headed home, my bed was calling!! hehe

Revising for the next week for the BAR, so my blog will be boring!!!

Bar Tender!!!!!!!

I am really enjoying working out here, everyday is different, meeting sooo many guests and finding out where they are from. They are all so interested about our home countries and how we get to out work out here. When we first start working, we are out on the podium or in the Chippie, we have to work towards being a Server or a Bar tender. We have to learn the menu and wine lists, then we have to take a test and spiel to our managers. If you pass we are offered one of these positions. Well I have been offered the Bar, I have been really lucky as two bar tenders left so they really needed people to replace them. There is so much to learn, but it will be worth as I will be able to get tips!!!!! Yippee!!!! cant wait, we are coming in to the busy season so I have brilliant opportunity earn lots of tips!! hehe. Also it is alot of fun behind the bar, we get out regulars would you believe come in. And you always get lots of Brits coming in to get there pints!!!!! I will miss watching the fireworks every night, they give me tingles everytime. But I am really happy and sooo pleased!!

So when you all come over make sure you come see me in the Rose and Crown Pub!!!!!!!!! I will pour you a good pint!!! hehe

Chillers

Wednesday night we went to Chillers which is in Church Street, Downtown Orlando. It was really cool place, had four different floors and then there is a roof terrace. Which is sooo cool with all the high rises of the city around you. There was loads of people there. There is a bar which sells $1 drinks!!!!!!!!! Each floor has different music, but the roof was the best. Weird being outside sooo late and it still being warm.

So many people!!!! There was these bike taxi's outside, really funny!!

To continue Craigs last week we all headed to JellyRolls on Tuesday night. Love JellyRolls always chilled out there. Two guys play the pinao and we all sing along. Mike and I had these huge cocktails for $8, very good. We all had a good dance. Again it was a sad night as we requested Green Day again and we all went up on stage and sung to Craig!! I dont want to leave here or say goodbye to anyone.

Lasses & Lads!!!!

On Monday night I went to UK Lasses, it was PJ night!! We had to wear our PJs to the appartment and then to Pleasure Island. It was a good night, felt really comfortable in my PJs. Hehe.It was also a sad night as we have to say goodbye to two peeps this week. They extended so thats why they didnt go home in September. I didnt really get to know them, but it makes you think about saying goodbye to peeps in a year!!!! So when we went to PI and meet up with the Lads in The Beach Club. When someone leaves we all stand in a big circle, and the peeps that are leaving stand in the middle, then the band sing Green Day "Had the time of your life", it was sooo sad!!!!

Clearwater!!!

So on Sunday I had the day off, and decided to go to the beach!! It is starting to cool down out here, but still warm enough to go to the beach a soak up the sun. Strange the some peeps were off as well that came last time expect James. It was me, Di and Dom. The car we rented was amazing, sexy little red Chev. Really didnt want to give it back this morning.
The drive was good, getting used to the American highways and how the Americans cant drive!!!!!!!!! They are mad!!!!
We arrived at Clearwater pretty early which was nice cos it was quiet. I fell asleep on the beach and woke up to lovely sun shine. So nice to relax and soak up the sun, felt again really chilled out. Didnt want to come home.

Sexy red car!! so nice to drive, beach was lovely, really like Clearwater so peaceful.
After the beach we went to a little beach bar to have dinner, nice views of the beach. So cool!!!
I had mussels that were soooooo yummy!! then Di and I had chocolate cake, wow it was amazing!!

After dinner we went and sat back on the beach to watch the sun go down!!! I love the sunsets, so amazing. Different everytime. There were still lots of people on the beach, walking alone the shore. Just a different life over here. I would want it anyother way.

I love the beach and exploring Florida, I having the best time out here. This makes it all worth while.

The Grand Floridian!!!

On Tuesday I had the day off, in the morning I went to one of the Disney resorts with my room mates, Candice and Betina. We went to the Grand Floridian, is was sooo beautiful and relaxing. The resort is one of the top hotels on Disney property, I would love to stay there. It has its own private beach. The weather was lovely too, I fell asleep was sooo peaceful. On the beach there was hammocks you lay in, really felt you were on a desert Island. So nice to spend the morning there, good to top up the tan as well.

The beach was sooo pretty and it was quiet. Also you can see the wedding pavilon across the lagoon, such a lovely setting.

The pool areas were also good as well, really comfortable sun beds yet again I fell asleep. My aim this year to stay a night in every disney hotel.

Magic Kingdom

Today I had the day off, so I went to Magic Kingdom with James, Jenna and Chris. It was a Saturday so it was really busy. The lines were really long!!! We had some lunch and watched the beginning of the new parade for Year of Million Dreams. We went on the new Piraties of the Caribean ride, it now includes Jack Sparrow. We also went on the 3D philharMagic ride which was really good. I like Magic Kingdom it is where the real magic is.

Blue Martini!!!

On Wednesday night I went with Candice and couple of her friends to Blue Martini, which is in Mall at Millenia. It was a really cool place, the martini menu was huge. On Wednesday night it is half price martini's!! Sex in the City was the best!!! very yummy. We all dressed, proper girls night out drinking martini's sooo good.

Shopping and Dinner!!

On Sunday I had another day off, and as my room mate Candice has rented a car for the week she drove us to Mall at Millenia it has some amazing shops. I was in Heaven!!!!!! There is a shop called Forever 21 which is brilliant, like a Topshop but 10 times better.

In the evening we went to this resturant called Melting Pot, it was amazing!! You have four course of fondue. It was so cool cooking your own food. We had a cheese fondue to start with different breads and veggies to dip in. Then I had a strawberry salad. Then on to the (prawns, steak, chicken, pork) and veggies. We are soo many sauces that we dip. Then finally we had chocolate fondue, wow this was amazing we had brownies, cheesecake, fruit to dip. So amazing. We were so full after I could hardly move!!!!

Have to go back again. The resturant was so pretty too, really romantic.

Blizzard Beach

On Saturday I had the day off and to Blizzard Beach with James, Chris, Jenna and Vicki. It was a hot day so I topped up my tan!! We went on all the rides expect the big sumit plumit ride, I am a chicken and the line was too long!!!! will have to go on it next time!!!

Afterwards we headed to Epcot for a bit, we were going to go on Soarin but the Fast Passes had all gone!! So we went to inventions instead. We played "Where is the Fire" you run round this house shining your light on the walls hunting for the fires. You play against the other the team, lots of fun!! We then had a go on the Segways, which are sooo cool and sooo weird! It is all done by balance and the movement in your body. Everyone uses them around Epcot that work there. Really want to have a long so next time!!

We walked the UK to see some peeps and I spotted Winnie the Pooh so had to get a photo with them, I was so excited to see them.

Its Thursdays!!! Bennigans!!

Thursday I went to Bennigans, most of my arrival group were there. It was good to see everyone as we are all working different places and times it is good to catch and gossip hehe. Also Andrew arrived on Tuesday so we had to take him out for a few drinks!!

Such had a good night!!!

Epcot and the FOOD&WINE Festival!!!!!

On Thursday I had the day off so I went to Epcot wiht Lucy. We first headed to Test Track which is a good ride. Then at the end they have all these cool cars, I want a HUMMER!! We then went on Soarin, which is one of my favourite rides. You are in a glider and you see loads of images from around US. You even get to smell the oranges from the fields. Lucy and I waited so we could be right at the top which has the best view.

At the moment Epcot has this big Food & Wine Festival, which is soo cool. They have added loads more countries to the Worldshow case, where you can go try the different foods and wines from that country. Cost like $1-$2 for each country and you get a small sample. We started at Canada, where we tried New Zealand. Yummy Kiwi and Custard roll, then I went to Greece to have the salad. We wondered in to the UK palivon I took lots of pictures, love working here. Rose and Crown is where I work, with fish and Chip shop which has jus been reopened. Such a pretty pavilon.

After UK we walked to France where I tried Escargots Provencal - SNAILS!!!!! They were cooked in garlic butter so you didnt really realise what you were eating!! I tried not to think about what I was eating!!! So glad I tried them, but dont think I could eat anymore!!!
I had a very yummy Champagne Slush. After France we tried Spain - Albondigas a kinda meatball. I was starting to get full, but we kept going. Next was Japan where we had Noodle salad with Shrimp, this was very good. Then finally we had Pizza in Italy, I couldnt fit anymore in but they was soo much more to try will def have to go back!!

Love all the countries such amazing buildings!!
After Italy we carried on walking round and I got a Strawberry Margaritas these are soo amazing. We headed back to the UK very full. Had the best time, love the Worldshow case always so much to see esperially with the Festival at the moment.
